CM visits children’s hospital

LAHORE, Mar 25 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar made a surprise inspection of Children Hospital after the inauguration of drug addiction center where he visited different wards and inquired about the facilities.
He also inspected the cardiac ICU ward of Children Hospital. He directed to carry out bone marrow transplant of a child patient at the earliest on the request of a woman.
Talking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Children Hospital was providing quality healthcare facilities to the patients and added that Punjab government would establish five mother-and-child hospitals in remote areas of the province on a need basis.
These hospitals would provide quality healthcare facilities to the children at their
doorsteps. He said that more funds had been provided to the Children Hospital for the provision of free medicines and other necessary resources would also be given on a priority basis.
Similarly, the issue of parking and provision of residences will be sympathetically considered. Usman Buzdar was also given a detailed briefing about the hospital.
Provincial health minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, health advisor Muhammad Hanif Pitafi and others were also present on the occasion.
