CM Buzdar’s father passes away

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Apr 1 (APP)-:Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar, the chief of Buzdar tribe and father of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, died of cardiac arrest at his native town Taunsa Sharif Monday morning. He was 81.

The veteran politician who had also served thrice as Member
of Punjab Assembly in past had reached his native town Taunsa
Sharif from Lahore Sunday night. After offering ‘Fajr’ prayer
Monday,he complained of pain in chest and a team of doctors gave him initial treatment and referred him to hospital.

He, however, breathed his last on the way to Taunsa hospital, a cousin of late Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar said.

Late Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar was born in 1938 in
tribal area Baarthi of tehsil Taunsa Sharif and acquired
education up to graduation. He was the son of the chief of
Buzdar tribe Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan Buzdar.

The Funeral prayer of veteran politician would be offered at
Taunsa degree college ground at 4 pm today (Monday). Later,
another Funeral prayer would be offered at 7pm in Baarthi following
which he would be laid to rest at ancestral graveyard by the side
of his father’s grave.

Police have prepared a comprehensive security plan as Chief
Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar besides other important political
personalities would attend the funeral prayer.
