CM inaugurates home delivery service for domicile, land record documents

PESHAWAR, Jan 14 (APP):Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan formally launched Home Delivery Service(HDS) for providing domicile and land record documents to masses at their doorsteps at a special ceremony held here on Monday.Addressing the ceremony the chief minister said the government
was taking practical measures for service of masses. He further said we will be
taking social welfare steps for the weal of the common man.
He warned the Tehsildars of strict action for employing
delaying tactics to sign land mutation documents.
“ Today, I am only telling them to sign the land mutation
document and tomorrow in case of non-compliance, action will be taken
against them,” the CM said and he directed the district Nazim Peshawar and
Deputy Commissioner to look into the land mutation issue.
The deputy commissioner DR Imran Hamid Sheikh addressing the
ceremony said that through this new service domicile and land record papers,
mutation documents and other documents would be provided to the people at their
doorstep. The home delivery services would be provided through Pakistan Post.
He said that public services through software would be started in coming 15 days.
