KARACHI, Nov. 22 (APP) : On the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, a campaign for cleanliness and provision of other civic amenities has been launched by District Municipal Corporation of Korangi.
Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Korangi, Aijaz Hussain Baloch and Administrator Korangi, Qurat-ul-Ain Baloch, the campaign has been started in Shah Faisal, Korangi and Landhi zones of Korangi District, said press release here on Sunday.
Led by Korangi’s Deputy Commissioner and the Administrator, a
walk was organised to create awareness among the people for promoting
pollution free environment. Besides officials of the DMC Korangi, a
good number of residents participated.
The Deputy Commissioner and the Administrator assured to take every
possible step to ensure better civic facilities including cleanliness
and pollution-free environment.
