CJP visits Army Public School, meets parents of martyrs

PESHAWAR, Oct 16 (APP):Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar Tuesday visited Army Public School (APS) Peshawar and laid a floral of wreath at the martyrs’ monument besides offering fateha for the departed souls.
According to a statement issued here by Protocol Officer Peshawar High Court, during the
visit, the chief justice met with families of the martyrs and offered Quran Khawani within the school premises.
During the interaction with the families of Shahuda, hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan said the
whole nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved families.
He also assured parents of martyrs gathered in the hall that justice would be done and.judicial
inquiry commission had already been formed in this connection.
In the meeting, Tufail Khattak, father of a martyr, Sher Shah, also announced a donation of Rs.
100,000 on behalf of families of APS martyrs for Chief Justice Dam Fund.
Later, the chief justice also visited the residence of judge Peshawar High Court, Justice Roohul Amin to express condolence on death of his mother.
The chief justice remained there for sometimes and offered fateha for the rest of departed soul.
