ISLAMABAD, Nov 21 (APP): Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mahmood Monday paid farewell visits to the Air and Naval Headquarters.
Upon his arrival at the Air Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) presented him the guard of honour.
Later, General Rashad Mahmood called on Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force in his office, a press release issued here said.
While talking to the Air Chief, the CJCSC conveyed satisfaction over the PAF’s state of operational readiness and lauded its key role in the success of operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The Air Chief praised the services rendered by General Rashad in strengthening the defence of Pakistan and his contributions towards enhancing Tri-Service synergy.
Upon arrival at the Naval Headquarters, the dignitary was received by
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah.
A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy clad in ceremonial dress presented him the guard of honour.
The Naval Chief introduced the visiting dignitary to the Principal Staff Officers at Naval Headquarters.
Later, General Rashad Mahmood called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah acknowledged and commended the remarkable services of General Rashad Mahmood during his tenure as CJCSC.
Admiral Zakaullah highlighted the dynamic role played by the Chairman to enhance the operational capabilities of Pakistan Armed Forces, Inter Services cooperation and transformation into potent and well coherent
integrated forces of the region.
The Admiral also appreciated the CJCSC’s meritorious services rendered for the defence of country and Armed Forces.
The CJCSC thanked Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah for the whole hearted support offered by Pakistan Navy and expressed his gratitude and well wishes for Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zakaullah and Pakistan Navy.
