A 23-member delegation from Group 10 of the 54th Common Training Programme of the Civil Services Academy, Lahore, visited the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP) on Monday as part of its study tour of Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 17 (APP):A 23-member delegation from Group 10 of the 54th Common Training Programme of the Civil Services Academy, Lahore, visited the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP) on Monday as part of its study tour of Islamabad.
During the visit, the delegation was shown a documentary highlighting the establishment of the Federal Constitutional Court, its constitutional role and jurisdiction, institutional evolution, administrative structure, and measures being undertaken to ensure the transparent, effective and expeditious delivery of constitutional justice.

Later, heads of various wings and directorates of the court briefed the participants about their respective areas of work, official responsibilities, administrative procedures, technological developments and ongoing activities.
The participants were also briefed on the role of judicial administration, information technology systems, research and legal assistance, media and public relations, human resource management and other support departments. The briefings provided the delegation with a comprehensive understanding of the court’s organisational structure and working procedures.
The participants appreciated the comprehensive nature of the programme, institutional discipline, professional standards and modern administrative practices of the court. They also expressed gratitude to the Registrar and the court administration for the hospitality extended to them during the visit.
At the conclusion of the visit, Federal Constitutional Court Registrar Muhammad Hafeezullah Khan and head of the delegation Ihtesham-ul-Haq exchanged commemorative shields.
