VEHARI, Oct 8 (APP): The COMSATS Institute of Information
Technology (CIIT), Vehari Campus, held 94th Convocation for award of degrees to graduates who passed out in 2016.
More than 250 students from Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculty of Computer Sciences, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, and Faculty of Humanities, were awarded degrees.
The event was attended by Member National Assembly (MNA) Tehmina Daultana and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Shameela Aslam, Rector CIIT Dr. S. M. Junaid Zaidi, Campus Director Dr. Khair u Zaman, the graduates and their family members.
Dr. S. M. Junaid Zaidi, Rector CIIT, speaking on the
occasion, highlighted welfare projects initiated by CIIT students, stressing to use their specialised knowledge and capability to research for current issues.
He advised the parents not to ask any notable for favours for graduates so that the newcomers could themselves find opportunities in the field.
Campus Director Dr. Khair u Zaman asked the students to
work hard for achieving solid and substantial gains.
Later, the Rector CIIT awarded degrees to the graduating
students.
