CII Chairman visits Iranian Embassy, offers condolences

ISLAMABAD, Mar 03 (APP):Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology Dr Raghib Hussain Naeemi visited the Iranian Embassy on Tuesday, where he expressed profound grief over the recent attacks on Iran and the demise of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, describing the loss as a tragedy not only for Iran but for the entire region.
During his meeting with Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam, CCI Chairman praised the Iranian nation for its patience, resolve and high morale in the face of recent developments.
He said the assault on Iran’s sovereignty was a matter of grave concern for the Muslim Ummah and a significant loss for the Islamic world, difficult to compensate.
He noted that Ayatollah Khamenei had consistently advocated Muslim unity and stood at the forefront of supporting oppressed Muslims worldwide, particularly in Palestine and Gaza.
Dr. Naeemi added that Ayatollah Khamenei had always wished for peace and stability in Pakistan and strongly condemned Israeli and US-backed terrorism and aggression against Iran. He emphasized that, at this critical juncture, Islamic countries must engage in immediate consultation and demonstrate unity.
