ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (APP):The Chief Justice of Pakistan, the Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association joined employees and security staff from the Christian Community in marking the joyous occasion of Christmas by cutting a festive cake at a special ceremony held at the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday.
The event was attended by employees from the Christian community, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity, harmony, and mutual respect.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Justice underscored the importance of interfaith harmony and reaffirmed the judiciary’s commitment to the constitutional principles of equality, religious freedom, and human dignity.
He warmly extended Christmas greetings to Christian employees and acknowledged their valuable contribution to the administration of justice. He also appreciated their dedication and service to the institution.
The ceremony was also attended by the Registrar, Officers, and the staff of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The event reflected the Supreme Court’s continued commitment to cultural and religious diversity, in alignment with Pakistan’s foundational principles of tolerance and unity.
