The minister said there was a fresh wave of HR abuses, state terrorism and killing spree of people in Jammu and Kashmir. He demanded the UN to arrange a human rights commission to monitor the situation of human rights in the valley.

The minister reiterated full support of the government and people of Pakistan to the just and legitimate right of the Kashmiri people for the peaceful resolution of the issue in line with their aspirations.
Chohan said human rights reports of international organizations have called for ending human rights abuses in the held valley and Security Council’s role for a peaceful settlement of longstanding Kashmir issue, but India gives a damn to these reports.
