Chinoy lauds PM for addressing women issues

ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (APP): Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, a renowned social activist and filmmaker, Monday lauded Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his government for focussing on women related issues. Talking to PTV after a meeting with the prime minister, she said that when her documentary was nominated for the Academy Awards, the Prime Minister had made a very strong statement regarding honour killing issue. “In today’s meeting, the prime minister reiterated that premiere of my documentary will be held in the PM House,” she added.
