Chinese energy company president meets CM

LAHORE, Nov 8 (APP): President of a prominent Chinese
company in energy sector Zoenergy, Yu Yong, met Punjab Chief
Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here on Sunday.
Matters regarding progress on solar projects being set up
at Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park Bahawalpur under the China Pakistan
Economic Corridor (CPEC) were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said the CPEC
project was being speedily implemented in Punjab and
completion of power projects within stipulated period was a
mission of the government.
He said besides solar energy, work on power projects
based on gas and coal were also continuing adding that
completion of energy projects would result in availability of
low-cost electricity to the masses.
The CPEC projects would be completed on priority basis, he
added.
President of the Chinese company Yu Yong said people
of China deeply appreciated the hardwork and determination of
Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He said Chinese leadership and the people loved
Shehbaz Sharif and he had deep respect in China.
Yu Yong also congratulated Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif
on the success of International seminar on Business
Opportunities in Punjab.
