China could play important role in Afghanistan’s peace: Khusro

ISLAMABAD, Jan 2 (APP): Chairman Standing Committee  on Foreign Affairs Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar Tuesday said China along with Pakistan and United States could play an important role in the peace of Afghanistan.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan would evolve a consensus after the tweet of US president Donald Trump.
He said Pakistan had eliminated terrorism from the country and there were no safe heavens for terrorists and militants. Pakistan had also wiped out Haqqani network to a great extent, he added.
Khusro Bakhtyar said Pakistan had rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism.
He said during his visit, the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
