ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP):A child lost their life and several members of the same family were injured when their vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a ditch in Matta, Upper Swat District, on Sunday afternoon.
According to details, the local administration said that one child was killed on the spot in the accident, while three others sustained injuries. The victims were members of the same family traveling in the vehicle at the time of the
incident, private news channel reported.
Officials said the accident occurred after the vehicle’s brakes reportedly failed, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle subsequently veered off the road and plunged into a ditch.
Rescue teams and local residents rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
