PESHAWAR, Jan 13 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister , Mahmood Khan has directed for expeditious completion of projects in health, education, communication, irrigation and other sectors in Mardan and sought a comprehensive progress report in this regard within a month.He assured to complete near to completion projects in the first phase and thereafter projects would be
prioritized and therefore he directed for extensive consultation to remove the
irritants in the overall developmental strategy.
Presiding over a meeting on the projects in Mardan at CM Secretariat Peshawar, the Chief Minister
directed to open completed projects for the public benefit.
The meeting was attended by Senior Minister Muhammad Atif Khan, provincial government spokesman Ajmal
Khan Wazir, members of Provincial and National Assembly of District Mardan,
Administrative secretaries, DC Mardan and other relevant quarters.
The Chief Minister was briefed about different developmental projects in Mardan and the Chief Minister
issued necessary directives in this regard.
The Chief Minister directed to complete the remaining work of District Headquarter Hospital Mardan and move a
plan for the Bacha Khan Medical College.
The projects on which 75% work had been carried out, should be completed in the first go and thereafter
there would be a consultation to make prioritization for the remaining projects.
He directed to complete the six wards of Bacha Khan Medical College immediately and hand it over to the
concerned quarter and thereafter prepare a schedule of new expenditure for the
creation of new posts. He also directed to send SNEs for the RHCs and BHUs
Mardan in order to put these facilities for utilization in the best interest of
the public. There should be no administrative irritants in the
operationalization of newly established facilities. He also directed to resolve
the electricity related problems in the DHQ Mardan. He also directed to resolve
the provision of equipments to Mardan Medical Complex. He also directed for the
posting of District Education Office Male and Female in Mardan. He also
directed to move a summary for the provision of offices in Tehsil Rustam.
The Chief Minister was
briefed about the revised PC one Mardan Mega Pak and the meeting already held
with the NLC. A meeting for the shifting of site for Fazal Abad Girls Secondary
School would be conducted.
The meeting also agreed to include 20 km long Patro road Mardan project. The Chief Minister also directed
to resolve the salary issue of the employees of Pakhtunkhwa House Mardan and
the posting of Tehsildar.
The Chief Minister also directed to contact Higher Education department for resolving the issues of UET.
