RAWALPINDI, Dec 15 (APP): The Chauntra Police arrested another proclaimed offender linked to the killing of an elderly citizen and the injuring of his son in a firing incident triggered by an old enmity.
A Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Monday the case was registered in October 2021. He said the accused had remained at large, while seven of his accomplices were arrested earlier.
He said the Chauntra Police tracked down and apprehended the proclaimed offender after deploying all available resources.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Anum Sher said the accused would be challaned to court with solid evidence to ensure his conviction. She said the police were determined to bring those involved in serious crimes to justice.
