ISLAMABAD, June 6 (APP): Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani on Monday did not allow an adjournment motion moved by Senator Muhammad Ateeq Shaikh to discuss the report of the National Commission on Human Rights (NCHR) about more than 1300 deaths of infants and children in Thar during the last 30 months.
The Chairman said that the issue pertained to the provincial government of Sindh. He advised the Senator to avail another remedy in order to debate the issue in the House.
Meanwhile, Senator Taj Haider on behalf of Chairman Standing Committee on Railways Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hassani presented a report to the committee on demands of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in the House.
