ISLAMABAD, Jun 23 (APP): Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Miftah
Ismail Thursday said that everybody should play their due role for restorating peace in Karachi.
Talking to a private news channel, he strongly condemned the killing of
renowned Qawwal Ajmad Sabri and kidnapping of Awais Shah son of Chief Justice Sindh High Court Sajjad Shah.
He said the incidents of target killing, extortion and street crimes
have decreased as compared to the past.
Miftah Ismail said the operation Zarb-e-Azb successfully destroyed
terrorists’ network that is why militants were hitting soft targets.
Replying to a question, he said the securing Pak-Afghan border will
take five to ten years because this is one of the longest border.
