ISLAMABAD, June 25 (APP): The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that the meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for the sighting of the moon marking the beginning of Muharram-ul-Haram 1447 AH will be held on the evening of Thursday, June 26, 2025, corresponding to 29th Zul-Hijjah 1446 AH.
The central meeting will take place at the deputy commissioner’s office in Quetta, while zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will convene simultaneously at their respective headquarters across the country.
In Islamabad, the zonal committee of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) will hold its meeting at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, located in Kohsar Block, Pak Secretariat.
The ministry has requested that all information related to the moon’s position be promptly shared via designated landline and mobile numbers to facilitate the official moon-sighting announcement.
