Capital Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and the Galiyat Bakot Press Club on Friday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide diagnostic tests and medical facilities to press club members and their families.
CDC, Galiyat Bakot press club sign MoU for medical facilities
ISLAMABAD, Aug 28 (APP): Capital Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and the Galiyat Bakot Press Club on Friday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide diagnostic tests and medical facilities to press club members and their families.
The agreement was signed at the Shah Khalid Branch of Capital Diagnostic Centre. The MoU was signed by Galiyat Bakot Press Club President Sardar Saeed and CDC Head of Marketing Ms. Rubina Akbar, said a press statement issued here.
Under the agreement, members of the press club and their families would receive up to 30 percent discount on basic and advanced diagnostic tests and other medical facilities.
It was also agreed that medical camps would be organized from time to time in Galiyat and Circle Bakot to provide healthcare facilities to the local people.
A delegation of the Galiyat Bakot Press Club including founder and APP Workers Itehad Group General Secretary, Khalid Iqbal Rabbani, Patron-in-Chief Sardar Abdul Waheed Hazarevi, President Sardar Saeed and Finance Secretary Abid Iqbal, visited the CDC branch for the ceremony.
CDC Head Office representative Farhan Riaz briefed the delegation about the diagnostic and healthcare services being provided by the centre across Pakistan.
The delegation also visited different departments of the laboratory and was briefed about modern diagnostic facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound and advanced scanning services. Officials said that test reports were prepared under the supervision of experienced medical professionals to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Rubina Akbar said the main objective of CDC, under the leadership of its Chairman and Founder Saeedullah Marwat, was to provide quality healthcare services to people at affordable rates without compromising on quality.
She said maintaining patients’ trust and ensuring timely diagnosis were among the organization’s top priorities.
Farhan Riaz said experienced and well-known doctors were providing services through the CDC panel. He added that CDC laboratories had been established according to international standards to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
He said CDC branches in major cities across Pakistan were playing an important role in providing quality healthcare and diagnostic services.
Riaz further said construction of a modern hospital at G-8 Markaz, Islamabad, had been completed and the facility was expected to become operational soon.
He added that CDC was also facilitating the availability of blood and providing free blood donations to registered thalassemia patients through its centres.
The Galiyat Bakot Press Club delegation appreciated the modern and professional healthcare services being provided by Capital Diagnostic Centre to the public.
