CDA reviews development work in new sectors, C-14 nearing completion

ISLAMABAD, Jan 28 (APP):The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday reviewed the progress of development work in several new sectors of the federal capital, with officials informing that basic infrastructure in Sector C-14 has entered its final stages and possession of plots will be handed over soon.
The review was carried out at a meeting held at CDA Headquarters, chaired by Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

Officials briefed the meeting that development work in Sector C-14 was nearing completion, while preparations were under way to begin the process of handing over possession of plots.
The chairman directed that signboards displaying plot and street numbers be installed and that complete information of all plots be made available on the e-map for the convenience of allottees.
Regarding Sector I-12, the meeting was told that development work on almost all residential and commercial plots had also reached its final stages.
The chairman directed that all basic facilities, including e-maps, signboards and streetlights, should be ensured in the sector.
The meeting also reviewed progress in Sector E-12, where infrastructure development in sub-sectors 1 and 2 is in the final stages. Officials said work in sub-sector 3 was under way, while tenders for sub-sector 4 would be issued after the removal of existing obstacles.
Randhawa directed that the process of handing over possession of developed plots in Sector E-12 be expedited and that illegal constructions and encroachments in the area be completely removed.
