ISLAMABAD, June 15 (APP): Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed on Wednesday said Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) were jointly working on a water supply project for the twin cities.
Responding a calling attention notice in Senate, he affirmed that the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi were facing water shortage.
He said a project was underway to supply water from Sindh River to twin cities to overcome the current shortage.
He said water supply to various areas including residents of Morgah More to Noor Mehal Hotel was the responsibility of WASA.
He said he would talk to the department concerned to address the issue.
