ISLAMABAD, Jul 21 (APP):Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has directed concerned departments to expedite development work in Islamabad’s under-construction residential sectors, emphasizing both speed and quality of execution.
Presiding over a high-level meeting at CDA Headquarters, on Monday Randhawa reviewed the ongoing progress in sectors C-14, C-15, C-16, E-12, I-12, H-16, I-16, I-17 and Park Enclave.

“The pace of work must be increased without compromising on quality,” said Chairman Randhawa. He emphasized that all relevant CDA directorates, particularly the DCCDA, should establish field offices within active sectors to provide on-the-spot resolution of residents’ issues. “People should be able to access services at their doorstep, with transparency and justice,” he added.
Randhawa also directed the installation of modern lighting and the improvement of road infrastructure in all new sectors. He stressed that main entry points to developing sectors must be widened and any encroachments or illegal structures removed in accordance with the law.
Specifically highlighting the pace of work in Park Enclave, he called for rapid progress to meet public expectations.
The chairman instructed that all administrative and legal hurdles impeding development work be removed on a priority basis. He also commended the CDA’s wings for the recent successful auction of commercial plots, calling it a historic achievement for the authority.
He further instructed the finance wing to allocate adequate funds to ensure timely completion of ongoing development projects.
The meeting was attended by Member Administration and Estate Talat Mehmood, Member Finance Tahir Naeem, Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Planning Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Member Environment Asfandyar Baloch, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon, Director General Resources CDA, DCCDA, and other senior officials.
