ISLAMABAD, Dec 1 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday received Canadian High Commissioner Tarik Ali Khan here at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Appreciating the positive trajectory of Pak-Canada relations and ongoing high-level engagement, the deputy PM emphasized further strengthening economic, trade, investment, agricultural, and people-to-people cooperation.
DPM/FM Ishaq Dar also acknowledged the important role of Pakistani diaspora in promoting bilateral ties.
The high commissioner thanked the deputy prime minister for support in facilitating import of Canadian Canola into Pakistan and noted the progress of work by Barrick Gold on the Reko Diq Project and willingness of other Canadian companies to invest in Pakistan.
