ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (APP):Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua Thursday invited the Canadian businesspersons to explore the budding market of Pakistan.
In a telephonic conversation with her Canadian counterpart and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Ian Shugart, the foreign secretary informed him that it was the government’s priority to facilitate foreign investors in the country, said a press release issued here.
During the conversation, challenges related to Pakistani nationals for obtaining Canadian visas were also discussed.
They also reviewed the the bilateral relationship between the two countries and the evolving regional situation.
Foreign Secretary was scheduled to travel to Ottawa for the next round of Pakistan-Canada Bilateral Political Consultations on March 7 but the visit was postponed due to the prevailing situation.
