Business community playing vital role in country's progress: NAB chairman

ISLAMABAD, Jan 31 (APP):National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal Thursday said business community has a vital role in progress and prosperity of the county and a special desk has been established in NAB head office to promptly resolve issues of business community.
Talking to a delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), he said a country’s institutions must enjoy the confidence of the business community, a press release said.

He said a special desk, headed by Director NAB Asim Lodhi, has been established in NAB headquarters for resolving the issues of business community. Asim Lodhi has also been assigned the responsibilities of a focal persons for maintaining close liaison with the business community.
He said the issues of business community would be resolved in accordance with law of the land. Lauding business community’s contribution, Chairman said NAB is national institute which is striving for country’s prosperity.
The delegation lauded the efforts of NAB chairman for eradication of corruption from the country, adding that business community has confidence over NAB as anti-graft watchdog is working as per law.
They thanked the NAB chairman for establishing Special Desk and appointing focal person. The delegation invited chairman to address FPCCI, headquarter, Karachi. The chairman assured the delegation to address FPCCI during his visit to Karachi.
