ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP):A breast cancer awareness session was organized on Thursday at the Community Health Centre (CHC) G-13 in collaboration with the NUST School of Community Medicine to educate about importance of self-examination, early detection and timely screening.
The session covered key aspects of breast cancer awareness, including self-examination techniques, early detection and the mental health challenges associated with the disease.
EPI In-Charge Dr Shazia Gul addressed the session and stressed the importance of greater awareness and timely screening for early detection and effective management of breast cancer.
The session aimed to promote awareness among women and encourage them to adopt appropriate preventive and screening practices.
