Bizenjo for APC to intensify war against terrorism

ISLAMABAD, Aug 8 (APP): Minister for Ports and Shipping Mir Hasil Bizenjo on Monday strongly condemned the suicide attack in Quetta and said the whole nation was saddened on the loss of precious lives.
Talking to a private news channel, he called for need to convene an All Parties Conference (APC) after the suicide incident for evolving a strategy to intensify war against terrorism like same was done after terrorist attack on Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.
The Minister said, matter of Afghan border should also be discussed in the proposed meeting and measure would be taken to fence the border as it had become imperative.
He said those martyred in the attack, were valuable asset of the society and their killing had caused huge loss to the country.
Home Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti condemned suicide attack in Quetta and said anyone found negligent in duty for this incident would be brought to justice.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Chief Minister Balochistan has ordered to submit a report on the incident and find out if anybody had committed negligence.
He said “we do not want to indulge in blame game after the incident but we would stand firm and take action against the elements who were destroying peace.”
The Minister said the terrorists would be tracked down with the help of the law enforcement agencies and award them exemplary punishment.
“Purpose of such activities in the country is to create panic among the people, but we would not get terrified and face the situation with unity and eliminate terrorists from our soil,” he said.
He said many terrorism incidents occurred in the past had links with people in Afghanistan and planned over there. It was also possible that India’s RAW was involved in this barbaric incident to create chaos in the country.
People of Balochistan and in rest of the country are waging war against terrorism and would continue their mission till elimination of terrorists, he added.
He said it was a war that cannot be fought alone by the government or armed forces rather the whole nation has to play role for defeating anti-state elements.
