ISLAMABAD, Dec 16 (APP):Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Tuesday paid rich tribute to the innocent students and teachers who were martyred in the tragic Army Public School (APS) attack as the nation marked 11 years since the horrific incident.
In his message, Bilawal Bhutto said the APS tragedy remains an unhealed wound on the conscience of the nation and a collective grief that strengthened Pakistan’s resolve against terrorism.
He emphasized that December 16 serves as a solemn reminder that terrorism has no religion, no connection with humanity and no justification whatsoever.
The Chairman said that Pakistan’s response to terrorism must always be rooted in unity, justice and an unwavering commitment to the protection of children.
He reaffirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party remains steadfastly committed to peace, education and the rule of law in the country.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the APS martyrs and will continue its struggle for a Pakistan where every child can learn without fear, move forward and dream of a better future.
Saluting the martyrs of the APS tragedy with profound respect, he said their great sacrifices will continue to guide the nation towards a safer, stronger and more peaceful Pakistan.
