ISLAMABAD, Jun 22 (APP):Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident in Budo Goth, Shikarpur district, where eight people lost their lives during a Muharram procession.
In a statement issued here, Bilawal Bhutto extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the mourners who were killed when an Alam came into contact with overhead electricity wires during the procession.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and for strength and patience for their families in this difficult time. Bilawal Bhutto also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
Expressing concern over the incident, he urged the public to exercise maximum caution during religious gatherings and called upon the relevant authorities to play their due role in preventing such tragedies in the future through effective safety measures and coordination.
