KARACHI, Nov 4 (APP): Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan
Peoples Party (PPP), has condemned the brutal murder of journalist
Zaman Mehsud who was gunned down in Tank in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
Tuesday.
In a press statement here on Wednesday, the PPP Chairman said
attacks and killing of journalists were threats to the freedom of
press, which the journalist community and the PPP had won through
great struggle and sacrifices.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government to
catch the culprits without any delay for severe punishment.
He also demanded that the family of slain journalist should be
provided protection and fair compensation.
He said PPP had always stood for the protection of journalist
fraternity and won’t remain silent on atrocities against them.
