ISLAMABAD, Jun 22 (APP):Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Abdul Aleem Khan on Monday held a telephonic conversation and discussed the political situation in Gilgit-Baltistan, including matters related to the formation of a new government in the region.
According to a press release, the two leaders exchanged views on matters related to forming a Government in Gilgit-Baltistan between the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party were discussed. Including consultations regarding key positions such as Chief Minister, Speaker, and other important offices were held.
Aleem Khan described the discussion with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as positive and cordial, and accepted his offer, stating that cooperation with the PPP for Government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan would continue.
He further said that a clear majority would be ensured for the positions of Chief Minister, Speaker, and other offices through a joint strategy.
