ISLAMABAD, Mar 11 (APP):Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Monday said the grandson of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto took the biggest U-turn of the century by meeting Nawaz Sharif, whom Ziaul Haq called his son.
The minister, in a statement regarding the meeting of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari with Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in jail, said today a ‘charter of truce’ was signed over the Bhutto’s blood.
He said Bilawal wanted to take political advantage in Punjab by showing himself a devotee of the political shrine of Nawaz Sharif.
He said Nawaz Sharif was unhappy and disappointed with his party leaders and now Bilawal was the only person left to see him in jail.
Fawad said opposition was doing politics over the health of Nawaz Sharif and it did not want him to undergo medical treatment and get well.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had already stated that Nawaz Sharif could get medical treatment from wherever he desired.
But the opposition was using his health as a political project and meeting of two disappointed political persons would only lead to more despondency, he added.
Earlier in a Tweet, the minister termed the reunion of grandson of Bhutto with Nawaz Sharif, who was called by Zia-ul-Haq as his son, the U-turn of the century.
