ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP):President Dr Arif Alvi Thursday emphasized that provision of basic facilities to the masses was top most responsibility of the government.
He said this during a meeting with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudary Fawad Hussain and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Iftikhar Durrani who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, a press release issued by President’s Media Wing aid.
He reiterated to play a proactive role in this regard and fulfilling his responsibilities in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution.
The president appreciated the environmental initiatives of the prime minister and assured his full support in such noble causes.
He urged to minimize unnecessary protocol and resolved for its self demonstration.
