ISLAMABAD, Dec 25 (APP): Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal congratulated the nation on the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, saying that Pakistan was not merely created by political slogans but was carved out in courtrooms by the unmatched legal brilliance, constitutional wisdom and moral authority of the Founder of the nation, whose struggle turned a dream into a sovereign state.
In his message on Jinnah Day, while talking to APP, Barrister Danyal said that Muhammad Ali Jinnah was considered one of the youngest and most promising lawyers of his time in British India. Jinnah was first and foremost a barrister who believed that justice, law and constitutional struggle are the strongest weapons of any oppressed nation.
Speaking exclusively with APP, he said that the Quaid turned legal arguments into a national movement that reshaped the destiny of South Asia and proved that disciplined advocacy can defeat even the most powerful empires.
He recalled that Jinnah began his journey in the legal profession at a very young age and quickly earned a reputation for his sharp intellect, mastery over constitutional law and fearless defense of fundamental rights. According to Barrister Danyal, the Quaid’s courtroom demeanor, command over facts and respect for institutions later became the backbone of his political leadership.
Barrister Danyal highlighted that Jinnah never compromised on principles in his whole life. Whether arguing cases or negotiating with colonial rulers, he relied on reason, patience and the supremacy of law. “Quaid-e-Azam did not mobilize mobs; he mobilized minds. He did not ignite chaos; he ignited consciousness,” Barrister Danyal said, adding that the discipline of law defined the discipline of Pakistan’s freedom struggle.
He further said that the Quaid’s unwavering commitment to minority rights, equality before law and democratic governance continues to offer a complete roadmap for today’s lawmakers and future leaders.
Jinnah’s famous vision of a state where every citizen could freely worship and live with dignity, he added, remains the true soul of Pakistan.
Barrister Danyal urged lawyers, parliamentarians, youth and the whole nation to reconnect with Jinnah’s character, his integrity, patience, courage and work ethic and to practice politics as a service rather than a shortcut to power.
Concluding his message, Barrister Danyal prayed that the nation may always remain faithful to the ideals of its Founder and that the spirit of Barrister Muhammad Ali Jinnah may forever guide Pakistan towards unity, justice, constitutional supremacy and enduring national harmony.
