ISLAMABAD, Jul 02 (APP): Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Safe City Balochistan visited Safe City Islamabad to study its surveillance infrastructure, policing technologies and operational mechanisms aimed at strengthening crime prevention and public safety.

An official told APP on Thursday that Assistant Director Safe City Abbas Mehdi briefed the visiting officer on the overall Safe City Islamabad system and conducted a detailed tour of the Command and Control Centre, Police Operations Centre Hall, Online Women Police Station, Hunch Lab and the network of advanced surveillance cameras.

The official said the visiting officer was informed about the working mechanism, operational capabilities and effectiveness of the Safe City system in supporting policing and emergency response.
According to the official, the visit focused on examining the role of Safe City cameras in reducing crime, enhancing public safety and strengthening day-to-day surveillance across the federal capital.
The official said both sides also exchanged views on the use of modern technology to improve policing, operational coordination and law enforcement capabilities.
