Balochistan Assembly Speaker visits Press Club Quetta

QUETTA, Apr 20 (APP): Balochistan Assembly Speaker Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani Friday said the role of media is important for development of society and journalists should highlight main issues of public and province for solution of problems through their positive reporting.
She said this while talking to media persons at Quetta Press Club during her visitt.
Senior Journalists including Shahzada Zulfiqar, Saleem Shahid, President Press Club, Raza-ur-Rehman, Balochistan Union Journalist (BUJ) president Khalil Ahmed, DPR, Director Shahzada Frahat, Press Club Quetta General Secretary Abdul Khaliq Rind and other senior journalists were also present on the occasion.
Raza-ur-Rehman and Abdul Khaliq Rind briefed the Speaker Raheela hameed Khan Durrani regarding related Quetta Press Club problems at the moment.
Speaker Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani said media is playing vital role, despite critical situation, as saying that journalism is a sacred profession.
She urged Journalists that they would arrange successful seminars and invite all the stakeholders, volunteer organization representatives and intellectuals for addressing of problems and development of province, saying that such seminars would help us for providing key information about public problems.
She assured the journalists that she would ensure resolving their problems and developing Quetta Press Club besides arranging latest books for its Library for increasing information of journalists.
Before, she inspected all sections of Quetta Press Club including Library, Sports Hall and its other parts.
On this occasion, she said I always tryed my best to promote quality of health services in public sector hospitals and improving standard educational institutions. “In this regard, laboratory test was established in civil hospital for betterment of patients”, she added.
She also appreciated a doctor, who established wards with cost Rs 3 million for treatment of poor patients in hospital and such volunteer people should come forward for helping of needy people.
