Baloch expressed dissatisfaction on pace of repatriation work for refugees

ISLAMABAD, June 13 (APP): Federal minister for states and frontier region Let Gen (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch expressed dissatisfaction on the pace of the work in Afghanistan for the repatriation of Afghan refugees.

For successful repatriation of Afghans refugees there should
be conducive environment but such concrete steps are still needed to
be taken by the Afghan government, the minister added.

The Minister said this while his meeting with EU ambassador Jean-
Fran‡ois Cautain, said a press release issued here on Monday.

The minister discussed the various areas of mutual cooperation
with the ambassador especially those related to FATA and Afghan
refugees.

The minister informed the ambassador about the proposed FATA
reforms draft which will be approved by the cabinet and the Prime
Minister.

The bill would ensure empowerment of the people of FATA, institutional capacity building, developments in health education and environment and creation of job opportunities in different fields including mining.

The ambassador has offered his full support for the various  development projects in FATA.
