Bahraini FM appreciates Malik's efforts to expand bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD, Jan 18 (APP):Pakistan’s Ambassador Javed Malik met with the Foreign Minister of Bahrain Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and discussed the growing bilateral ties between Pakistan and Bahrain.
The Foreign Minister appreciated the valuable efforts by Ambassador Javed Malik in further consolidating and expanding the diplomatic, economic and cultural ties between both countries, said a press release issued here.
Sheikh Khalid Al Khalifa said that Bahrain highly values its strong brotherly relations with Pakistan.
While recalling his recent visit to Pakistan in which he co-chaired the First Pakistan Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), the Foreign Minister said that the up-gradation of our diplomatic ties to Ministerial level was a major step and it highlights the significance that both countries attach to their relations, says a press release received from Bahrain here today.
It may be noted that the JMC was followed by the first Pakistan Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference for which Bahrain’s commerce Minister Zayed R. Alzayani had led a large government and business delegation to Pakistan in March 2017.
The ambassador said that it was a matter of great satisfaction that the vision of the high leadership of both countries has been executed in line with the understanding that was reached between the King of Bahrain and the Prime Minister of Pakistan during their meeting which 2015 in Bahrain.
Javed Malik said that Pakistan offered tremendous opportunities of business, trade and investment for Bahraini and Gulf based businessmen and expressed the confidence that the economic ties between both countries will be enhanced.
