ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP): The Interior Minister of Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi, received a telephone call from his Bahraini counterpart, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The Bahraini Interior Minister strongly condemned the suicide attack at a mosque in Islamabad. He expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and extended sincere sympathies to the injured and affected individuals.
During the conversation with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Bahraini Interior Minister stated that an attack on a mosque is an attack against humanity. He expressed profound grief over the loss of precious lives in the Islamabad blast and reaffirmed that Bahrain has always stood with Pakistan and will continue to stand by Pakistan in the future.
The Bahraini Interior Minister reiterated that Bahrain condemns terrorism in all its forms and values Pakistan’s immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi thanked his Bahraini counterpart for expressing solidarity with the victims. He stated that Bahrain has stood by Pakistan in every difficult time. He emphasized that Pakistan has rendered tremendous sacrifices to make the world safer and that the international community must stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
He further said that the time has come to take coordinated and effective measures at the global level to combat terrorism.
