ISLAMABAD, Mar 03 (APP):The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the National Assembly met on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Speaker of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to deliberate on the agenda and duration of the 25th session of the lower house.
The committee decided that the current session of the National Assembly will continue till Friday, March 13.
The numbers discussed key legislative business and matters of national importance scheduled for consideration during the ongoing sitting.
It was agreed that the House will hold a detailed debate on the prevailing regional situation, enabling lawmakers to express their views on recent developments and their implications for the country.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Federal Ministers Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Khalid Hussain Magsi.
Among the members of the National Assembly present were Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Syed Naveed Qamar, Nezahat Sadiq, Syeda Shehla Raza, Syed Amin Ul Haque, Shazia Marri, Phulain Baloch, Gul Asghar Khan, Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani and Noor Alam Khan.
