Azam Nazeer Tarar thanks Azerbaijan for support during Mark-e-Haq

ISLAMABAD, May 14 (APP):Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday expressed gratitude to the government and people of Azerbaijan for their support during Mark-e-Haq.
While welcoming a visiting Azerbaijani delegation in the National Assembly, he said that Pakistan deeply values the solidarity shown by the people of Azerbaijan, including demonstrations of support in Baku and other cities.
He said there are strong people-to-people and government-to-government relations between the two countries, adding that the warmth and affection between the nations is well known to those who have visited Azerbaijan.
“Thank you very much for visiting Pakistan, and a very warm welcome to all of you,” the minister said.
Earlier, Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah informed the House that a delegation from Azerbaijan was present in the Speaker’s gallery to observe the proceedings.
Lawmakers welcomed the guests by thumping their desks.
