GUJRANWALA Aug 18 (APP): Azadi Train on Thursday arrived at Gujranwala railway station amid warm welcome.
A large number of people were present for reception at the railway station.
The train started its journey at 9:30 am from Gujrat after a
night stay. Taking one hour stay at Wazirabad junctions, Azadi Train reached Gujranwala.
During month long travel Azadi Train will continue its journey
to other cities of all four provinces.
According to schedule, Azadi Train will stay for two hrs at Muridke and later on, depart for Lahore.
People of Gujranwala also pelted rose petals on the arrival of
Azadi Train which is beautifully decorated with buntings, national flags, banners and portraits of historic, cultural places and heroes of independence movement.
