ISLAMABAD, Apr 26 (APP):Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned the firing incident that took place during a dinner hosted in honour of journalists at the White House.
He termed the incident deeply unfortunate and highly condemnable, saying that such acts not only endanger human lives but also undermine global peace and stability.
Ayaz Sadiq expressed satisfaction that President of the United States Donald Trump, the First Lady, Vice President J.D. Vance and other attendees remained safe in the incident.
He extended his best wishes to President Trump and all participants.
Ayaz Sadiq said that the world is currently facing serious challenges of extremism and violence, which require collective and coordinated efforts to address.
He emphasized that the promotion of peace, tolerance and mutual respect in societies is essential to prevent such tragic incidents.
The Speaker said that Pakistan strongly condemns all forms of terrorism and violence and will continue to work with the international community for the promotion of peace.
He said that peaceful coexistence, dialogue, and tolerance are the key to a secure and stable world.
