ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP): Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid rich tribute to the youth and acknowledged the vital role of the Scout movement in character building and national development.
In his message on the occasion of World Scout Day, the Speaker said that the Scout movement serves as an effective platform for nurturing discipline, integrity and a spirit of public service among young people.
He emphasized that scouting instills leadership qualities and a sense of collective responsibility, enabling youth to contribute positively to society.
Highlighting the services of Pakistani Scouts, he said that they have consistently demonstrated exemplary dedication in times of natural disasters and emergencies, standing at the forefront to assist affected communities.
He remarked that encouraging youth towards constructive and positive activities is essential for ensuring sustainable national progress.
Ayaz Sadiq said that young people are the bright future of the nation and that their positive training and guidance is a collective national responsibility.
He underlined the importance of modernizing scouting institutions in line with contemporary requirements to further strengthen their impact.
Reaffirming the commitment of the National Assembly, the Speaker said that Parliament will continue to extend full support for the welfare of youth and the promotion of the Scout movement across the country.
