ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP):Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid rich tribute to security forces for their successful counterterrorism operations in Kulachi (Dera Ismail Khan) and Dattakhel (North Waziristan), praising their courage, professionalism and unwavering commitment to national security.
The Speaker commended the forces for eliminating 15 terrorists during the operations, saying their bravery deserves the utmost recognition, said a news release.
“Our security forces have rendered heroic and unforgettable sacrifices for the defence of the country and the restoration of peace,” he remarked.
He said that the steadfast resolve of the Pakistan armed forces and law enforcement agencies in eradicating terrorism is highly commendable.
“The entire nation stands united for peace, stability and the complete elimination of terrorism,” he added.
Ayaz Sadiq said the role of security personnel in defeating the “seditious elements of Khawarij” and foiling their nefarious designs is praiseworthy.
He emphasized that national unity and strong institutional cooperation are essential to eradicate the menace of terrorism.
Paying tribute to the martyrs, the Speaker said: “Those who laid down their lives in the fight against terrorism are the true heroes of the nation.”
