ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (APP): Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid tribute to the country’s security forces for eliminating four militants belonging to “Fitna al-Khawarij” during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Speaker commended the professionalism and operational capabilities of the security forces for carrying out a successful action against the Indian-sponsored militant group.
He praised their effective response and unwavering commitment in confronting terrorism.
Ayaz Sadiq said that the sacrifices rendered by security personnel in the war against terrorism are a source of immense pride for the nation.
He reiterated that Pakistan’s resolve to completely eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country remains firm and unwavering.
Referring to the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under “Azm-e-Istehkam,” the Speaker said that operations against militants would be taken to their logical conclusion.
He emphasized that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight to eliminate the scourge of terrorism.
