ISLAMABAD, Aug 06 (APP): Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Thursday paid tribute to the security forces for eliminating 12 terrorists during successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the Balochistan districts of Washuk and Mastung.
In a statement issued here, the Speaker praised the professionalism, operational capabilities and dedication of the security forces, saying their bravery and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism were a source of pride for the entire nation.
He said armed forces and law enforcement agencies remained firmly committed to eradicating terrorism from the country and would continue their operations until the menace was completely eliminated.
Ayaz Sadiq said hostile elements and their supporters would never succeed in their malicious designs against Pakistan.
The Speaker said the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with its brave security forces in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed its unwavering support for their efforts.
He also said the sacrifices rendered by the security forces for ensuring peace and stability in the country would always be remembered and honoured.
