ISLAMABAD, Aug 02 (APP):Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday strongly condemned the bomb blast near the gate of Kabal Police Station in Swat, expressing deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives.
In a statement, the Speaker extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
He termed the targeting of innocent civilians and law enforcement personnel a “shameful and cowardly act,” saying that terrorists were enemies of humanity as well as the country.
Ayaz Sadiq said that those involved in acts of terrorism deserved no leniency and reaffirmed that such cowardly attacks could not weaken the nation’s resolve to eradicate terrorism.
The Speaker said the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the country’s security forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.
He said that every conspiracy aimed at disrupting peace and stability would be defeated through national unity and collective determination.
Ayaz Sadiq also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the blast and for patience and strength for the bereaved families.
